FOUNDER
Julie is a trauma-informed therapist with over 19 years of experience supporting individuals through complex emotional experiences. She works with adults navigating trauma, emotional regulation challenges, major life transitions, and the psychological impact of chronic health conditions and injury.
Her approach is grounded in connection and integrates Parts Work, ACT, somatic approaches, DBT, and person-centered therapy. Julie is known for her calm, thoughtful presence and her ability to create a space where people feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported in meaningful, lasting change.
As the founder of Mending Minds, Julie is committed to building a practice that prioritizes high-quality, relationally grounded care while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for clinicians.
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Talia is a student therapist who supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and everyday life challenges. She has a special interest in working with those involved in sports, as well as individuals navigating health concerns and overall wellbeing. She also brings a background in nursing and has held a variety of clinical roles across both the health and mental health sectors, which informs her holistic and compassionate approach to care.
Talia brings a warm, supportive, and client-centered presence to her work. She is focused on creating a space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and able to explore what they’re going through at a pace that feels right for them.
As a student therapist, Talia offers services at a reduced rate.
Registered Psychotherapist
Christina is a Registered Psychotherapist who works with adults, youth (12+), and families navigating challenges related to mental health, relationships, and parenting. She has extensive experience supporting youth, families, and parents, and has worked within school board settings from 2003 to 2013, followed by her role with Algoma Family Services. She has been practicing as a Registered Psychotherapist since 2017.
Christina supports individuals facing a range of emotional, behavioural, and relational concerns, bringing a depth of experience across both community and clinical settings. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded. She is committed to creating a space where people feel supported, understood, and able to explore their experiences at a pace that feels comfortable and meaningful.

Nicole is a Registered Social Worker who works with children, youth, adults, and families navigating challenges related to anxiety, mood, trauma, and life transitions. She supports individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward, offering a steady and supportive space to begin making sense of their experiences.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded, drawing from ACT, CBT, DBT, and attachment-based perspectives. Nicole is known for her approachable nature and her ability to help people feel comfortable, understood, and supported as they work toward meaningful, lasting change.
